WR of 112. Dam is a first-calf heifer and daughter of our second-generation Pathfinder dam, MB Joanie 8E8 1627, who records progeny weaning and yearling ratios of 107 and 111 respectively on her three natural calves. Her son, Mill Brae Plowman 1627 of MillBrae SAR sold as the $8,000 top-performing and high-selling bull in our ‘95 sale, selling two-thirds interest to Simpson Angus Ranch of Oklahoma. Her daughters have been highly sought after individuals by registered breeders with MB Joanie EXT 3605 selling for $40,000 in the Locust Level Sale to Smith Flooring of Missouri and Mill Brae Joanie EXT 7032 topping our 2000 Female sale at $14,500 to McWilliams Ranches, Oklahoma. Other daughters were also high sellers in our 2000 Female sale with Mill Brae EXT Joanie 674 purchased by Fairfield Farms of Lakeview, CT, for $7,500 and Mill Brae EXT Joanie 723 selling to Larson Angus Ranch of Sharon Springs, KS, for $4,300. MB Joanie 8E8 1627 posts tremendous growth EPDs of +51 for weaning weight and +85 for yearling weight ranking her in the top 1% of current dams within the Angus breed. With weaning weight EPDs in the +50s and yearling weight EPDs in the +90s both dam’s of these two bulls rank in the top 1% among current dams for weaning weight and the top 1% for yearling weight EPDs. A blend of moderate birth weight, high maternal, and explosive growth from an esteemed cow line.
